Oh yes, my friends. It’s Milla. She is in definition. A *high* definition. You want her, we got her, here’s what you do to make it yours. Using any of the four provided Resident Evil: Extinction screenshots, modify the pictures and add text as you like to make us laugh. Our top scienticians will review the entries and choose the hilarious-est.
We’ll pick our five favorites, and in addition to the DVD, winners will also score Resident Evil: Extinction hats and shirts. So if you’re tired of stuffing crummy old games into your PS3, support Milla’s ongoing de-zombification efforts and send us your captions. Check out our example entry, watch the trailer HERE, and read on for full contest rules.

That got your attention faster than news of Avatar’s easy Achievement hack, didn’t it? MTv’s games blog, Multiplayer, has been digging in to the glorious mystery of everyone’s favorite invisible nerd points and just set their sites on Dead Rising. MTv conversed via email with DR game designer Goda Hidehiro about inspirations behind the Achievements, why all the game’s Achievements are the same worth regardless of difficulty and his personal take on why we keep chasing those points which are worth less than your epic WoW mount du jour.
Dead Rising is not only a truly awesome game, but also boasts some of my favorite Achievements, such as points for walking 33 feet on zombie heads (”Zombie Road”), knocking over zombies with an umbrella (”Raining Zombies”) and an Achievement for escorting 8 female survivors simultaneously (”Frank the Pimp”). IMHO, The single most creative Achievement in this or any 360 game is “Zombie Genocider,” which comes from killing 53,594 zombies — the population of the town, as seen on the Welcome to Wilamette sign on the helicopter ride to the mall — and rewards the player with 20 measly points and Mega Man’s MegaBuster weapon. Dope!
