That’s right. Along with the new kids on the block, SFIV will feature the return of Bison, Balrog, Sagat, and Vega.
You’ll have to beat the game to see the secret behind how everyone’s favorite dictator has apparently cheated death again, but you can check out our flickr pool now to see “the bosses” looking, well… boss!
Now 100% more easily downloadable, here are the new screenshots of the latest addition to the SFIV cast–El Fuerte–first-rate Luchador (second-rate cook).
Hello everyone!
Its been so busy here lately, I’m beginning to become a bit absent-minded here.
Today, I am glad to introduce you to a Hidden Character in Street Fighter IV.
Actually, I wish I could formally announce this information, but I can’t show that much yet so this will have to suffice… sorry!
Feast your eyes on this!
This is one Street Fighter IV’s Secret, Unlock-able Characters, Sheng Long!
There are certain Street Fighter combos that are just so right that they happen naturally, almost without planning, kinda like music. Games Radar was in our offices earlier this week, getting a little hands-on combo time with the SFIV cabinets that Seth is usually jealously guarding like a dragon squatting on a pile of gold. Unsurprisingly, they found that some of the classic SF combos work in SFIV just as they did in Street Fighter II.What they haven’t shown you here — what we haven’t really shown anyone, yet — are the combos that are entirely new to the game. Seth has been quietly mastering a series of combos with Zangief that require skillful use of the Revenge Gauge, Cancel techniques and a fully powered Super Combo meter but results in almost 100% damage. Plus, he managed to beat the entire marketing group last night with a single hand. Scary!
A few days ago, Seth K posted what we felt were two amazing videos produced internally by Team Unity, where he provided narration for a set of animated Street Fighter IV screen shots. We patted ourselves on the back, high-fived all the way around the room and then lit cigars with $100 bills. A few days later, Gametrailers has straight-up faced us. Check out what the experts can do with a little time and mad-wicked After Effects skillz. Please make sure to also go check out the jaw-crackingly stunning HD version of this video, too.
Last Friday, immediately after the weekly Play Against Capcom session, Capcom played with itself. Divided along the ancient tribal lines of Marketing and Product Development, the groups decided to settle their differences with a few rounds of Street Fighter IV.
The battle pitted the Marketing department’s “Pants-on-Fire-Liars” vs Product Development’s “Paying More than 10$ for a Haircut is for Suckers” squad. It was exactly like West Side Story if they worked office jobs and could not dance even a little bit.
In case you’ve had trouble sleeping, my golden pipes are back to explain the intricacies behind the recent round of Crimson Viper screenshots. The slideshow + audio breaks down her complete repertoire of special attacks and a few of the cheap things you can do with them.
Ipod-friendly version of this video is here, and the special move breakdown for Abel is here.
While there’s nothing as exciting as playing Street Fighter IV, I think we can all agree that listening to my nasal monotone narrating a slide show of SFIV stills is a very close second.
As such, please enjoy this little overview of Abel’s specials moves, how they work, and a few of the horrible things you can do with them to the people you love. If you are too good for youtube, a more easily ipodified link can be found here.
