New Hair Growth Formula: The Devil May Cry 4 Strategy Guide

February 25th, 2008 Chris Tou

Devil May Cry as a series has always been known to be hair-pullingly difficult. Especially 3, which caused so much hair loss to the general population that we had to create a much less baldness-inducing, controller-destroying Special Edition of 3 at the request of out-of-work barbers.

Well, in case the recently released Devil May Cry 4 is once again causing manually induced baldness, our friends at Prima Guides are here to help! Prima’s official Devil May Cry 4 strategy guide will help you master every boss fight. It still won’t help you get through those pesky devil-bringer grab jumps. You’ll still have to do those on your own. But the fights. And not getting lost on each level. It will help you.

Don’t believe me? Click on image above to check out a sample of the guide. This sample includes a walk-through of Mission 17, the Castle Town of Fortuna. There’s even a handy-dandy “Buy” button throughout the guide, so that you can quickly and easily purchase the full version right there!

Devil May Cry 4: Tips for Success from Prima Games

Tip #1: Know Your Moves!
Each playable character has a unique repertoire of combination attacks. Open the Pause menu to view the character’s abilities. Use the button combinations listed there to attack, evade, and explore with style.

Tip #2: Don’t Get Comfortable!
Enemies can hit a stationary player character more easily, whether he is on the ground or in midair. Avoid more attacks by moving continuously. Refrain from shooting while midair when facing enemies that fire projectiles.

Yes, it’s Mega Man V, featuring the first and last appearance of fan-unfavorite, Gravity Man. Speed runner Josh Styger completes the entire game in 44 minutes and 12 seconds. Some notes on how the run was accomplished can be found here.

IGN’s Z-Dub guideMatt and Bozon from IGN have put together a great strategy guide for helping you find your way through Zack & Wiki’s devilishly clever puzzles. Of course, you could always use the in-game hint system, but sometimes you just need to know.
