As we previously mentioned, our Devil May Cry 4 Betrayer/Betrayed and Deceiver/Deceived campaign is now in full swing. First the fly posters were spotted in San Francisco, and now they’ve been spotted in New York as well, as seen here in between Roscoe and the NY Ballet. Perhaps there’s a theme here that I’m not detecting.
Anyways, click on the image above to check them out.
Update: A couple of images (with the 2nd image looking like it did come out of Cloverfield) from out Flyposter contest regarding these posters. Image 1, image 2.
Spotted deep in the heart of San Francisco, a wall of cool Deceiver/Deceived and Betrayer/Betrayed posters, bringing you the DMC4 message where you LIVE. If you live in San Francisco, that is. Or New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago (w00t!), Washington DC/Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, or Seattle.
If you spot these defacing a condemned building near you, snap a picture of yourself (no gang signs, please), send it to me, and I’ll send you a fresh copy of the poster and save you the trouble of trying to peel it off yourself.
**Despite his posters’ proximity to our own, Capcom takes no responsibility for Lenny Kravitz.
Sub-zero temperatures and at least a 45-minute wait didn’t stop Devil May Cry fans to play Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 at this year’s New York Anime Festival. Yes, actually play DMC4 before it hits stores on February 5th!
Thank you to all of you that came by our booth. And sorry for not letting in all the under-17 year olds to play—I know you understand even though you were hating on us.
P.S.: Ashley—we’ll see you at the next festival, and first in line to play Devil May Cry?
P.P.S.: Mom and Daughter team—we’re still waiting for you to post that video of Mom playing DMC4!
Perla Bead craft master folgera has posted pictures of his work to his Flickr archive. Most all of his work features various iconic video game characters, including Mega Man and various bosses. It’s some pretty impressive some stuff and worth checking out by clicking on the image above.
I’ve always wondered, if you dress up for Halloween, is it still considered cosplay? Why or why not? Regardless, pictured above is our very own Marketing Intern, Lily, who dressed up as Cammy for Halloween. She had this to say about her pictures:
“My pictures from Halloween. I took them on my webcam before I went out. And just to be silly I did a few Cammy poses as well. Hehehe”
As a result, we are now considering a policy requiring all interns to cosplay as a Capcom character of our choice when they come to work in order to ensure their continued employment.

Comingsoon.net apparently has acquired the synopsis to the soon-to-start-filming Onimusha movie, and, by the looks of it, it doesn’t look half-bad at all.
In feudal Japan, 1582, the warlord Nobunaga is ambushed by ninjas, led by the brave samurai Samanosuke. Trapped, Nobunaga commits seppuku, but two sinister sorcerers reanimate Nobunaga’s corpse with a half-human insect larvae. The resurrected Nobunaga orders the capture of two very special women to fulfill his evil plans.
When Britta, the daughter of a Dutch merchant, is abducted on board a ship by seemingly invincible warriors, her tutor and confidant Jacob pursues her captors, vowing to rescue her at all costs. Meanwhile, the beautiful Princess Yuki is also kidnapped, this time by ninjas that reveal themselves, incredibly, to be part spider. In search of Yuki, Samanosuke joins forces with Jacob to vanquish their common foe. In the Cave of Elders, he receives a magical sword that will slay all within its reach - friend or foe - and learns of a sinister ceremony at Inabayama Castle intended to blot out the sun.
Performing a dangerous, stealthy invasion of the castle, Samanosuke and Jacob find the women they love dressed as Moon Princess and Daughter of the Sun, ready to be wed to and ravished by Nobunaga. Aided by their allies, the two warriors attack the insectoid hordes, but Samanosuke falls in battle, seemingly dead. In a mystical encounter, he is given the option to survive and fight - but it comes at a terrible cost…

Just yesterday over lunch there were discussions on GnG being one of the best, yet one of the hardest, games ever, and today I find it combined with another candidate for “Best Game Evar” (Though much easier). Staticreator has, true to his/her name, created a cool Mega Man vs Ghosts N Goblins Flash game. The remixed GnG music accompanying the game is also top notch.
