Taste the Rainbow: New Rocketmen Screens

January 4th, 2008 Seth Killian

We just submitted Rocketmen: Axis of Evil to ye olde Sony and Microsoft for approval, and thought now might be a good occasion to share a heaping heap of new shots of the game.

In addition to some closer looks at the crazy character customization possibilities, you can also get a sneak peak at some of the game’s MANY boss battles, cut-scene hilarity, and the multiplayer bullet-flying madness that will fill your Rocketmen days and nights. Stay tuned for a bunch more incoming Rocketmen details, and of course the game itself will be here soon (we’ll post up the release date as soon as we hear back).

New Rocketmen Screenshots

December 14th, 2007 Seth Killian

Hot off the, er… presses? Well, hot off something anyway, we’ve got a bunch of brand-new screenshots for the upcoming Rocketmen: Axis of Eeeeeevil. Okay, it’s just regular “Evil,” but with the staggering amount of bad guys to blast through, I feel the extra “e”s are justified. Rocketmen is a downloadable title for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, but unlike most of the downloadable pap out there, Rocketmen has a LOT of content, plus amazingly customizable characters and a ton of powerups. It’s even got that elusive special sauce: “replay value.” This is the most game you’re going to find for your downloadable dollar. Stay tuned for more updates.

November 5th, 2007 Seth Killian

From Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix producer Rey Jimenez:

Hey Street Fighter fans, I hope the deluge of Street Fighter related news hasn’t been too much for you to handle. It looks like Kotaku got the jump on us regarding some new art, so we’ve opted to show you some older work-in-progress assets now, and over the next few months.

Enclosed in the zip file below, is a ton of work-in-progress art files. These files are almost 2 months old, but they are a good selection of files that illustrate some key issues and highlight and some of the steps that we are taking to ensure the final product will live up to the name of Street Fighter.
