Since Lost Planet, Extreme Condition Colonies Edition is coming out in a few weeks, we posted up a new batch of Akrid bashing, egg hoarding screenshots to whet your appetite some more. Click on the image above to see the whole high-resolution Flickr set.
In addition to the Wii-tastic golf action, one of the really fun things about We Love Golf is the alternate Capcom costumes for the characters. When we heard the team was adding two new characters for the upcoming Western release of the game, we asked “Why not let our fans pick the alternate costumes for the new guys?”
As it turns out, everybody at Capcom had lots of extremely good reasons why this was a terrible idea. But then we did it anyway!
For the female character, your choices for the alternate costumes were Cammy (Street Fighter), Morrigan (Darkstalkers), Rouge (Power Stone), Roll Caskett (Mega Man Legends), and Ashley Graham (Resident Evil). For the men, the options were Frank West (Dead Rising), Balrog (Street Fighter boxer), Guy (Final Fight), Ken (Street Fighter), Dhalsim (Street Fighter), and Captain Commando (from, um, Captain Commando).
Today we’re proud to announce the fans’ choices: Darkstalkers’ own Morrigan, and Street Fighter’s Ken! Morrigan’s outfit is available as Stephanie’s alternate costume, and you’ll find Ken’s red gi on Mark, giving us our first African-American incarnation of Ken Masters!
Thanks to everyone who voted for making this a ton of fun and adding some great surprises to the game.
The “It Came from Uranus” expansion pack for our PSN and XBLA downloadable, Rocketmen, is out today (May 14th) for XBLA, and tomorrow (May 15th) for PSN.
Here’s another look (video above, two new screens below) at the expansion showcasing one of the game’s new levels, some new weapons, and hella dudes with wings that require explodification. Your itchy trigger finger compels you to BUY IT NOW.
While it may be your last stop for good taste in names, this expansion pack for Rocketmen: Axis of Evil is your first stop for bullet-flying, asteroid-crushing, space-faring hijinx. Well, maybe its your second stop, since you need the original Rocketmen game to play this expansion pack. But after you’ve blasted your way through that, this is where you’ll want to go next. If you’re new to Rocketmen, be sure to check out the updated, powered-up demo.
Uranus video above, and check out the new screens here!
We have a new batch sweet new screenshots from the upcoming Lost Planet Colonies. Although the screens are a bit, er, “petite,” they include some big action, including shots of the sweet new Akrid Hunter mode, as well as Egg Hunt and some single-player bosses. These are giant bugs fighting giant robots in space, people!
Could it be just a randomly awesome picture, or could it be leaked concept art from our new spin-off “Mike Haggar Vs the Environment” where Mike discovers all this environmentalism nonsense was just a dastardly scheme concocted by the earth itself, which is trying to take over the earth! Only a man as hard as Haggar is strong enough to shoulder the truth, and now he has to single-handedly go out and pound the crap out of the environment until it submits to mankind’s enduring mastery!
That’s right. Along with the new kids on the block, SFIV will feature the return of Bison, Balrog, Sagat, and Vega.
You’ll have to beat the game to see the secret behind how everyone’s favorite dictator has apparently cheated death again, but you can check out our flickr pool now to see “the bosses” looking, well… boss!
I may not like saying “shmups” but man do I love playing em. You monks have your Zen sand gardens, I have my endless geometric waves of bullets, badguys, and bosses. Our latest glorious entry into the world of digital downloads is 1942: Joint Strike, a lovingly reimagined take on the classic. Click here to see the new screens.
For fans of the original that have been waiting on this one, I have to say–it’s exactly what you were hoping it would be!
Hit the jump for the video trailer, which also just went up on Xbox Live Marketplace for your convenient at-home downloadification.
Now 100% more easily downloadable, here are the new screenshots of the latest addition to the SFIV cast–El Fuerte–first-rate Luchador (second-rate cook).
We just submitted Rocketmen: Axis of Evil to ye olde Sony and Microsoft for approval, and thought now might be a good occasion to share a heaping heap of new shots of the game.
In addition to some closer looks at the crazy character customization possibilities, you can also get a sneak peak at some of the game’s MANYbossbattles, cut-scene hilarity, and the multiplayer bullet-flying madness that will fill your Rocketmen days and nights. Stay tuned for a bunch more incoming Rocketmen details, and of course the game itself will be here soon (we’ll post up the release date as soon as we hear back).
