Major Nelson and Kramer talk DMC4 (and giant robots and a tease of RE5)

February 11th, 2008 Chris "Kramez" Kramer

No, not that Major NelsonSssshh! Don’t tell Major Nelson, but everything we’re doing on Capcom Unity is essentially following the gamer blog trail that he has so thoughtfully blazed for our industry. I’ve respected Larry’s work since he began blogging for Xbox and I marvel every day that there aren’t more game companies following in his footsteps. That said, I got a real charge out of chatting with him for his podcast about Devil May Cry 4. We talked DMC background and history, install controversy, new gameplay mechanics, crazy Japanese kids in Tokyo and Osaka, how every car in Japan does not actually turn into a robot (unfortunately) and tease listeners a bit about Bionic Commando, Dark Void, Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5. If you’ve got a few minutes, take a listen; I apologize in advance for my voice, which is akin to the sound of ten thousands locusts trapped in Barbara Streisand’s nose.
