UK-based print magazine Front (NSFW!) has swapped out Nero and Dante to create these images of glamour model Vikki Blows in the DMC4 universe. The full photo-shoot (which does, I repeat *does* contain nudes) will appear in the latest issue of Front (NSFW!), and goes on sale March 1. More previews here. Win!

Cool zombie contest for UK release of Resident Evil: Extinction DVD

Over on the island nation of Great Britain, or England, or the UK — whatever it is these days, the Sony Pictures folks are running a pretty cool online RE DVD promotional campaign. Head over here to the official RE: Extinction site, upload a picture of yourself (if you so desire), adjust your tone, darkness and, best of all, your decomposition levels to zombify your bad self. You need to feed and exercise your zombie slave to make it a more efficient brain-chomper, for on Feb 18, all zombies will be “released” across a number of UK websites in homepage ads to battle it out with Alice.

Mila’s virtual character will be wondering from site to site on the 18th, slaughtering zombies like some sorta superhot zombie shredder. If your zombie survives, you might win some cool schwag, including PS3s, a Sony Bravia or copies of the movie. Of course, you’ll prolly need to be a resident of the UK in order to win (I should be able to tell you, but I lied when I clicked the “I have read and agreed to the rules of the contest” button), but there’s nothing stopping you from making a zombie doppleganger in the meantime. My zombie is named “Kramez,” go figure.

Devil May Cry On The Loose In New York, Not As Nauseating As Cloverfield

As we previously mentioned, our Devil May Cry 4 Betrayer/Betrayed and Deceiver/Deceived campaign is now in full swing. First the fly posters were spotted in San Francisco, and now they’ve been spotted in New York as well, as seen here in between Roscoe and the NY Ballet. Perhaps there’s a theme here that I’m not detecting.

Hold it! As catchphrases go, I’m not sold yet, but I am sold on this keychain. The best part is you don’t actually buy it. It’s yours as a preorder gift from Gamestop, and as a gift with purchase (re: you get it w/preorders and regular old orders) from the Capcom store.

If you preordered the game before this was announced—fear not!—you will still get the preorder gift just as if you knew what you were doing all along. Who loves you?

Spotted deep in the heart of San Francisco, a wall of cool Deceiver/Deceived and Betrayer/Betrayed posters, bringing you the DMC4 message where you LIVE. If you live in San Francisco, that is. Or New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago (w00t!), Washington DC/Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, or Seattle.

If you spot these defacing a condemned building near you, snap a picture of yourself (no gang signs, please), send it to me, and I’ll send you a fresh copy of the poster and save you the trouble of trying to peel it off yourself.

Devil May Cry 4 Visits Gotham

Sub-zero temperatures and at least a 45-minute wait didn’t stop Devil May Cry fans to play Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 at this year’s New York Anime Festival. Yes, actually play DMC4 before it hits stores on February 5^th!

Thank you to all of you that came by our booth. And sorry for not letting in all the under-17 year olds to play—I know you understand even though you were hating on us.

P.S.: Ashley—we’ll see you at the next festival, and first in line to play Devil May Cry?

Careful, you might be eaten by a Grue. Or a Poogie.

So, our compatriots across the Pong Pond at Capcom UK sponsored a Fortean expedition to the (I would suppose) murky rainforests of Guyana in search of giant anacondas and the mysterious didi, which supposedly “rip the tongues from living cattle.” Although it seems like it would be difficult for me to type anything more rad than that onto our corporate blog today, this expedition was sponsored in the name of marketing Monster Hunter in Europe. I will wait a moment while your mind boggles. G’head, collect yourself.

Now that I have dropped this mindbomb on you, head over to the official Center for Fortean Zoology’s Guyana Expedition 2007 blog to track the team’s progress in search of critters not normally seen outside the pages of the Monster Manual. Like, now. For the love of everything cool, add the subscription feed to your reader while you’re at it. So far, no sign of tongue-chomping forest apes, J-Lo crushing reptiles, lost tribes of Bigfeets or Cthulu, but who knows what the future may hold. Well, Cthulu knows what the future holds, but then again, he’s a telepathic sticky green spawn of the stars with an awful squid-head with writhing feelers who brings the End of All Things. So, there’s that.

For the benefit of our American readers, “the Pond” is that large body of water east of New York, aka “the Atlantic,” while Guyana is a country in South America, located south of America, and is not, as it might sound, an ingredient in Red Bull.
