Greetings, dear internet browsing individual, and welcome to our humble community forums. Congratulations on your choice of blog forum browsing, by the way, as we can assure you that you’ve come to the place where only the greatest of minds meet.
We’re talking, of course, about great minds like that of superhero turned attorney, Harvey Birdman. Capcom was lucky enough to catch up with the birdman himself betwixt harrowing court cases. Mr. Birdman let us briefly delve deeply into his world much like a moderately-aged triple cream brie. While he did not have time to answer the Proustian questionnaire inspired by the famous Bernard Pivot, he did have a few minutes to answer the paramount “boxers or briefs” quandary.
So sit back, relax, and prepare to indulge in what is sure to be the absolute finest journalistic experience you have ever…um, experienced.Ever.
Gamespot’s On the Spot checks in on the Wii version of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, showing off elements of the first case. Skip past all the boring stuff about Rock Band and Crysis (Pssht! Who wants to play those games? Oh wait, ME!) and aim for 28:40. The GS boys dig it– calling it “hilarious” — and you shall too!
As a reminder, we currently have onetwo three contests going on with great prizes that you don’t want to miss out on.
First, we have our “What *Really* Happened to Harvey?” Comic Contest, where you can use any combination of the artwork, backgrounds, and the talk bubble templates provided (or any of your own invention), and add your own text to explain what really happened to Harvey. For more information, check out the “What *Really* Happened to Harvey?” Comic Contest post.
If Harvey is not your cup of tea, there are also two contests for Ace Attorney. The first is “We’re In UR Contest, Judgin’ UR Entryz“, which involves using any Ace Attorney imagery or screenshots, modify the pictures and add text as you like to make us laugh.
The second Ace Attorney contest is sponsored by 1up.com, and asks you to put your crime-solving skills to the test and help determine the outcome of the Ace Attorney “Crime of the Century” mystery sweepstakes. For more imformation, check out the sweepstakes page on 1up.com.
There’s a lot of awesome prizes waiting to be given away and there’s no limit on how many contests you can enter, so what are you waiting for? Hurry up and enter!
Our lovely new Marketing Intern Lily has taken some new pictures of the prizes for our recently announced “What Really Happened to Harvey?” Comic Contest (You can tell that obviously her photography skills are much better than mine). If you’re interested at what you can win, check out the Flickr archive by clicking on the image above.
We all know Harvey Birdman was tragically hit by a bus. The question that remains is: What happened next? Is he dead? Is he back in court and trying to prove that he’s still alive? While that sounds like a case even Harvey could win… We think he could use your help. Subpeona the testimony of any of Harveys friends and enemies to tell us your version of the story. We’ll review the entries and choose our favorites, rating them in terms of creativity, humor, and any accompanying PayPal bribes.
GameTrailers.com recently posted two new Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law trailers, depicting the Investigative Gameplay and the Courtroom Drama Gameplay. Check them out below.
So Tokyo’s a little far away and you can’t attend in person. While we can’t give you the sweaty nerds and sexy booth babes, we can offer you, as compensation, all the sweet Capcom trailers, screenshots, and other assets we are releasing at this year’s TGS for your consumption, including a brand new Devil May Cry 4 trailer featuring new brand new footage, and screenshots from the recently announced Wii title, We Love Golf!
After you’re all buckled in and ready, scroll down for all the goodies!

One of the perks about working in the gaming industry is that generally you get access to some cool shwag. Just in time for today’s Wii Harvey Birdman announcement, I also had some cool Harvey Birdman shwag dropped in my cube, which you can see the pictures of by clicking on the image below.
Note that the fake-movie-posters are made of metal sheets, not some flimsy paper stuff that those other companies use to make posters with.
Yea, they’re pretty cool. In fact, they’re so cool, we think they’ll make good prizes to give away. Stay tuned to Capcom-Unity, as we’ll announce the contest here first.
