A buncha pics from the Capcom WonderCon installation, courtesy of Capcom intern Lily. Despite owning some kind of fancy SLR she opted to go with a more “street” feel to these pics, which include plenty of Capcom game stations, UDON Street Fighter artist Long Vo doing custom drawings for da fans, and of course lots and lots of cosplay.
We have no excuse for Gerald.

Sub-zero temperatures and at least a 45-minute wait didn’t stop Devil May Cry fans to play Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 at this year’s New York Anime Festival. Yes, actually play DMC4 before it hits stores on February 5th!
Thank you to all of you that came by our booth. And sorry for not letting in all the under-17 year olds to play—I know you understand even though you were hating on us.
P.S.: Ashley—we’ll see you at the next festival, and first in line to play Devil May Cry?
P.P.S.: Mom and Daughter team—we’re still waiting for you to post that video of Mom playing DMC4!

The line to play DMC4 stretches around the corner

If only you took life so serious, too

A visit from Nero himself

I Object! Go wait in line!

Hey, isn’t that Mario playing Zack & Wiki?

I’ve always wondered, if you dress up for Halloween, is it still considered cosplay? Why or why not? Regardless, pictured above is our very own Marketing Intern, Lily, who dressed up as Cammy for Halloween. She had this to say about her pictures:
“My pictures from Halloween. I took them on my webcam before I went out. And just to be silly I did a few Cammy poses as well. Hehehe”
As a result, we are now considering a policy requiring all interns to cosplay as a Capcom character of our choice when they come to work in order to ensure their continued employment.

If you want to stalk a post-apocalyptic wasteland to feed on the flesh of the living, but keep getting pwned by local heroes, you should find some similarly-minded zombie friends over at Zombie Walk. Because seriously, a lone zombie is just asking for a shoddy to the dome.

One of my favorite parts of the Tokyo Game Show is the cosplay “alley.” Every year, the outdoor walkway area between two of the main halls is overtaken by more Aeriths, Soras, Morrigans and random girls in maid costumes than should rightfully be assembled in sticky Tokyo September weather. This year, camera in hand, I went in search of intrepid Capcom fans, expressing their love of our titles by spending literally weeks designing their costumes.
