Over on the island nation of Great Britain, or England, or the UK — whatever it is these days, the Sony Pictures folks are running a pretty cool online RE DVD promotional campaign. Head over here to the official RE: Extinction site, upload a picture of yourself (if you so desire), adjust your tone, darkness and, best of all, your decomposition levels to zombify your bad self. You need to feed and exercise your zombie slave to make it a more efficient brain-chomper, for on Feb 18, all zombies will be “released” across a number of UK websites in homepage ads to battle it out with Alice.

Mila’s virtual character will be wondering from site to site on the 18th, slaughtering zombies like some sorta superhot zombie shredder. If your zombie survives, you might win some cool schwag, including PS3s, a Sony Bravia or copies of the movie. Of course, you’ll prolly need to be a resident of the UK in order to win (I should be able to tell you, but I lied when I clicked the “I have read and agreed to the rules of the contest” button), but there’s nothing stopping you from making a zombie doppleganger in the meantime. My zombie is named “Kramez,” go figure.
