Should you buy the PS3 or 360 version of Devil May Cry 4 ?

December 21st, 2007 Chris "Kramez" Kramer

Well, the corporate answer is “You should buy both and give one to a friend. Perhaps a third to put under your pillow” The actual answer for concerned gamers with both systems is “Either or, makes no difference.” Gametrailers has done due diligence and run both flavors of the game side by side — and sometimes over and under — for your eyeballing. As I’ve been telling people for months, there ain’t no difference between the two. Kobayashi-san and his team have gotten Capcom’s Framework engine to sit up and bark on command on both systems in a most excellent fashion. All you system fan boys, settle down.

Are you telling me I should be jumping for joy that there is no difference? HAPPY that two consoles with different technological capabilities have NO DIFFERENCE? It is as if you guys developed this game for a variety of PCs- complete with install time.

This makes me sad. The PS3 version should be better than the X360 version. Instead it is just the same. Better tech = more capable.

AND it was to be a PS3 exclusive. So it must have been being developed for the PS3 first- and thus look better for it. Does it? No.

All I can say is: BOOOOOOOOO!

Yowoe, you couldn’t be more full of it…
Just for you to know and apparently your a PS3 fan..
The Ps3 has a 256 video card.. compare to the 360 which has a 512, What does that do? you may ask? Well it brings better texture and better rendering.
Why you think Gears of War can never come out on PS3? is because ps3 cant run that game, U guys have UNreal 3 yes but it runs slower on the ps3 than it does on the PC… so please stop licking Sony’s nuts..

Once Unreal 3 comes out on the 360.. you’ll see it will run just as smooth as it did on the PC
