If you haven’t had the opportunity to get yer mits on Devil May Cry 4 at various worldwide events (E3, Comic-con, Games Convention Germany, Tokyo Game Show and the New York Anime Festival, to name a few), you’ve been missing out! Fortunately, Capcom’s got your back. In the beginning of 2008, we’ll be releasing a demo of the game on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. Free, naturally. The demo is tantalizingly brief, but will allow you to get your Devil Bringer on, mess about with with Nero’s gun, Blue Rose, and his sword, Red Queen, whack a bunch of baddies and even face off against one of the game’s spectacular bosses. I’m teasing you with this cool new image of Dante, who does not appear in the demo at all. Psyche!

We’re still a ways out on release — we’ll give you a heads up as we get closer to putting it live — so make sure you occupy your time checking out some of the great DMC4 stories that will be running on various websites today.
