Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 Lands on PSN Tomorrow!

June 4th, 2008 Seth Killian

Title pretty much sums it up: Commando 3 will be available on PSN tomorrow, June 5th. For the low, low price of $9.99, you’ll get Commando’s classic old-school shootery with beautiful HD 3D graphics, featuring different character abilities, lots of new weapons, and multiplayer (multiplayer vehicles too!).

Check out the latest Commando 3 screens from CAPTIVATE08, watch some video here, and get plenty of sleep tonight so your “buy it now!” finger is in top condition for tomorrow’s mission.

hey wait a minute! what about the Xbox Live version? >_>
does this mean PS3 gets to play the HD Remix online beta
this week first?

and does this mean COmmando 3 will be coming to Xbox Live next week?

Unless something has changed, I was under the impression that PS3 folks were going to miss out on the HD Remix online beta (lameeeeeee).

Normally I’d buy this just because I love classic Capcom arcade games, but the whole deal with no HD Remix beta for PS3 owners just pisses me off.

The other more serious issue with leaving the PS3 out of the beta, to me anyways, is what if there’s a specific problem with their net code on the PS3 that hampers online play on the PSN? It makes more sense to test on both..

I understand the disappointment of PS3 owners, of course, but this beta test was unfortunately not possible on the PS3. The fact that there is a test at all will benefit the final release on both platforms.
