Bay-Area Dhalsim, spotted amongst the other drunks, tweakers, and swarthy cosplayers at this year’s Bay-to-Breakers “race.”
For non-San Francisco locals, while Bay-to-Breakers is technically considered a 12k “fun run,” it’s more generally viewed as an excuse to dress up, ride a float, and puke on someone else’s lawn. Now that I think of it, that’s kind of what San Francisco tends to do with pretty much all its public events (because things are more awesome that way, duh).

Some cop actually pulled over and asked me questions on my way to the con.
I think it says something about my dedication to Capcom, though, considering I spent so much money to be hot n’ sweaty n’ nearly blind and almost getting arrested just for two days of wearing it.

That’s great seeing Dhalsim participate in the San Francisco Bay-to-Breakers fun race.
I also think that’s Blanka in the background, to the right of the Piranha Plant from the Super Mario universe. Hey Seth, thanks for getting back to me. I already showed these pictures to my good friend, Taki Enomoto at Capcom Japan, and he really liked them. The pics are of my Red 2008 Dodge Charger, my Street Fighter themed custom license plate, and me in my Shotokan Karate Gi.
Street Fighter has been one of those franchises in my life that has had a tremendous amount of impact. I both love the series as a great videogame phenom and something that I look for, to draw inspiration in my own martial arts practice. I decided to put this link here, just in case I can’t PM you in the Forums.
I hope what you’re about to see is good, lol, and not “or not good…”. Oh and are there any Golden Tickets left for CAPTIVATE08? If not, that’s ok, I’ll be more than glued to my computer screen during and after the event.
Also, I was trying to get some artwork (this batch of screens included) into the big Street Fighter tribute book, but it’s too late now, isn’t it? Thanks for your time.
