CAPTIVATE08 is coming up fast, people, and we can barely contain all the awesomeness that will be bustin’ out of our event. To wit: yer gonna get a chance to see the next (incredible!) trailer for RE5 right as CAPTIVATE08 ends! Gametrailers TV with Geoff Keighley will be debuting the new RE5 trailer on Spike TV Friday night/Saturday morning, May 31 at 1 AM EST/PST. Set your friggin’ TiVOs now, campers, as you cannot miss this. I’ve personally watched the trailer about a dozen times now, and I’m still seeing new stuff each time I look at it. It’s filled with evil — EEEEEEVILL! — and running and terror and shooting and exploding and horrible critters trying to suck poor Chris Redfield’s face off. More to come!

The RE5 episode of “Gametrailers TV with Geoff Keighley” will be available in a ton of digital formats on saturday, including iTunes, Xbox LIVE, Amazon unBox and, of course, on gametrailers.com.
I’m hoping this new trailer won’t disappoint, I’ve been dying to hear more about RE5… the whole project is being kept under wraps better than an Umbrella experiment. :s

Umbrella projects are notoriously bad at being kept under wraps. Hence the killing and the shooting and licking and the occasional light nuking of Midwestern towns. I can promise you, however, that if you liked the trailer from E3 last year, this new one is going to reach out of your TV and punch you right in your gamerbone. Two minutes and twenty-some-odd seconds of “Oh my god, I need to play this now!!1″
Good to hear. :3 I loved the E3 trailer, especially when Chris punched the one guy in the face… that was so awesome.
And yes, even though Umbrella teaches their employees obedience = discipline = unity = power = life, they apparently never taught them that secrecy = getting away and NOT having your facilities destroyed by the heroes in blue. XD

Does the trailer show more information on the new armed woman and other charachter? Her name, role? Ore is it as useless as the E3 trailer? Only a trailer that shows how beautiful is RE5 graphics…
