Zen! I’m Achieving It
May 6th, 2008 Chris TouThere’s news that Grand Theft Auto IV just surpassed Call of Duty IV as the most played game on Xbox Live. No doubt most of you, along with many of us here at Capcom, have been contributing to their success. However, is GTA4 something you want to play all the time? Can it satisfy all your gaming urges? Can it help you achieve zen?
Tim Agne doesn’t think so. Over on the mlive.com blog, Tim writes:
But an odd thing happened to me last week, and I feel the need to share it. I came home from work primed to uncork a gaming binge, but GTA IV just wasn’t screaming at me. I didn’t want to unload a workday’s worth of frustrations in an explosive catharsis of car wrecks and homicides. I needed something more relaxing, more chill, more Zen.
So I fired up the Wii and put in Okami.

I have to say, as a first timer to Ôkami, it is indeed relatively relaxing compared to my other addictions.
I agree with Shawn. Ôkami is like playing a wonderful dream.
I am VERY picky with video games and it takes a really stand-out & original game for me to purchase it. It’s been a while since a game stood out to me like the way Ôkami did.
Zen! I am it.
That is exactly how I feel when I get home! I have been playing Okami on Wii for hours on end while my brother plays GTA4 and I have no intentions on switching.
I can’t wait for my new boxart to ship.. Will it have the “Wii” logo too? I noticed the new boxart was just art without any logos but I still want the white band at the top with “Wii” in the corner. I really don’t want to do that manually
