Okami Wii & PS2 Side-By-Side Comparison Video
April 18th, 2008 Chris TouThose guys at Gametrailers, with their fancy equipment and actual skills, have once again done what we wish we could have done: They’ve made a video comparison between the awesomeness that is Okami Wii, released this earlier this week, and it’s original DNA clone, Okami PS2. If this video, and the awesome prospect of Celestial Brushing with the Wiimote doesn’t convince you to buy Okami Wii, your video game heart must be black, or at least some shade of dark gray.

I kept having the “less than” symbol for sides-of-eyes-emoticon but my message kept getting cut off.

[…continued] The differences that I noticed were that in the PS2’s version, the game had that paper-texture look to it. The Wii’s version was much more colorful, though.
I also saw in another video that the Wii’s version has the same sluggish-framerate areas that the PS2’s version had but the game runs really smoothly in general.
I am going to buy this game for the Wii when it comes out. I promised myself that.
I’ve never played the PS2’s version. Heck, I didn’t even know it existed until I saw the “5 Reasons You Suck if you Don’t Play Okami” blog in this site. When I saw the video, I was like (O)_(O)

So whats with the IGN watermark on the cover of the game? Dont you guys have any original art without having to “borrow” from IGN?
