Bionic Commando Podcast: Now in Full 1080p!

April 3rd, 2008 Seth Killian

The Bionic Commando podcasting team returns:

Top Secret File 012: Christian Svensson, VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development, Capcom USA

Christian Svensson joins us from across the Pacific to talk about the rebirth of Okami on the Wii, as well as the challenges of bringing Japanese games to the West, and the future of Capcom. Christian also talks about Capcom’s other downloadable titles, including Super Street Fighter II HD Remix!

And in case you’re wondering, yes, we have switched our blog format over to the increasingly popular “All Svensson, All the Time!” format. Featuring Svensson updates at 15, 20, and 40 past the hour, we are your #1 source for the most in-depth Svensson reportage you’ll find this side of the Mississippi.

We’ll stop talking to him when he runs out of interesting things to say. So far, no luck, so click here to hear him dish.

It was cool hearing from Christian on Õkami, and other things. And as soon as Street Fighter was brought up, I knew Seth’s name would get thrown in haha!

Great podcast, enjoyed this one a bit more than the others. It was nice to hear from the Capcom USA side of things. Too bad there wasn’t more of a just reason to have a Capcom-Unity bi-weekly podcast. That would rock. :D (I know, I know… But let me dream it)

I’m actually pushing for Ben’s podcast to happen more frequently and be rebranded more of a Capcom podcast than just a Bionic Commando podcast. I think they do a really good job.

That would be great! Ben and the gang do an excellent job, for sure. I think it’s a great investment, especially since they really aren’t all about Capcom, or Bionic Commando. I love hearing those guys perspective on all things gaming, and the many guests from different companies and such throughout the industry.

The fact that they involve the community is a very appealing factor.

Would a Final Fight Anthology Collection be too risky of a venture, Sven? Is that not doable? Do those collection discs cost 30 million dollars to make?
