Every day, I walk by Kubozono-san’s cubicle, and every day, I find myself stopping to watch him play Okami on the Wii for a few minutes. And every day, I think to myself, “Man, I’m going to play this game over again!” 480p Okami, 16×9 widescreen, plus Wii wiggle-waggle controls? A thing of beauty, really, and absolutely the way this game was meant to be played. Just as Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition impressed the pants offa everyone who played (for the third time through, for some folks), I think that Okami is really going to knock socks off all comers. Nintendo of America has just officially approved Okami, so we’ll be shipping it out to stores in North America soon in order to hit the April 15 release date. Now you know where your tax return/”economic stimulus package” dollars are going to go!
